The Journal "Physiology & Molecular Biology of Plants" (PMBP) was founded by Prof. H.S. Srivastava in 1995 as an
international journal and has been regularly published as a half-yearly issue ever since.
Following his demise, Prof.H.S.Srivastava Foundation took over this task since 2002, under the editorship of Prof. R.P. Singh,
who is currently the Editor In Chief.
The journal draws its strength from its editors and editorial advisory board, the members of which are of national and
international repute. Their hard work and the patronage of the contributing authors has brought PMBP a lot of acclaim as a
quality journal.
From 2006, the 12th year of its publication, the journal entered a new phase of excellence-led growth by doubling the
frequency to become a quarterly journal and hopes to increase the frequency further in the years ahead.
