On 9th March'2001, Prof.H.S.Srivastava left all of us for heavenly abode, so
untimely at the age of 54 years. He was very active for the progress of Plant
Sciences in India.

He is remembered as a great teacher, a loving friend, husband & father
who honestly conceded that he scratched a lot of valuable time from his
family & friends to devote to Science & Society as his first love.

As a dedication to him, his peers, colleagues, friends, students & family
have setup a foundation for the betterment of Science & Society, a mission
which was very dear to him
